Position Overview:

The Dining Service Associate plays a vital role in our community, enhancing the lives of residents and fostering meaningful connections.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Executing all facets of hospitality-oriented dining service, following the Ready, Set, Serve Program in the dining area, including setting, serving, and clearing tables.
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of meals under the guidance of the Chef.
  • Carrying out general cleaning tasks, including scraping, washing, stacking, and storing dishes.
  • Upholding established cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service activities as mandated by health regulations.
  • Encouraging and monitoring a la carte and wine service sales in line with set procedures.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum education of Grade 10.
  • Smart Serve certification and at least one year of experience in dining room service.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and a strong command of both verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check is required for applicants in Ontario.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check is required for applicants in British Columbia.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Safe Food Handling Certification is an asset.
