Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Haru BBQ Korean Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare and submit reports as required.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, including staff rotations and breaks, to ensure that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
