About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Northern Dental Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental assessments to identify potential issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with dentists to ensure seamless patient care and implement effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide patients with comprehensive oral hygiene education and guidance to promote healthy habits.
  • Clean and stimulate gums to prevent gum disease, and apply fluoride treatments as needed.
  • Remove stains and deposits from teeth, and take, develop, and mount X-rays to aid in diagnosis.
  • Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, and order supplies and maintain inventory accordingly.
  • Implement treatment plans and examine patients' teeth, gums, and surrounding tissue to ensure optimal health.
  • Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques.
  • Plan and implement dental health treatment plans, and perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
Requirements
  • Dental Hygienists Licensure by the appropriate provincial or territorial governing body.
  • Immunization records.
