Job Summary

The Food Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensuring the efficient operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, handle customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as maintain a clean and organized storage area.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as remove kitchen garbage and trash.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, overtime required, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, team player, ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, positive attitude.
