Job Opportunity: Project Coordinator

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable Waterworks company based in the GTA, Ontario. Our client is a successful family-owned company with over a decade of experience servicing many of the municipalities across Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for liaising with clients, sub-contractors, vendors, and the entire team. You will prepare regular progress reports, prepare subcontracts, P.O's, change orders, and site instructions. You will also participate in tender and contract preparation, assemble bids, track inquiries, and requests for pricing. Additionally, you will maintain safety records and basic safety audits, compile Close-out Checklist, and submit Close-out documents.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of industry experience in a coordinator role, specifically within Water and Sewer. You will have exceptional communication skills, written, verbal, and online. You will also have the ability to understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications, experience working with AutoCAD and 3D models, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and a basic understanding of MS Project. Proven ability to understand construction contract terminology is an asset. You will also be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
