Electrical Engineer or Designer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer or Designer to join our team at Enhanced Engineering (E2) Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for our clients in the oil and gas industry.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems for oil and gas projects, including low and medium voltage power distribution, PLC and DCS control systems, and equipment layout and control panel designs.
- Conduct hazardous area classification, cable sizing, electrical schematics, and wiring diagram reviews.
- Collaborate with clients and other engineering disciplines to lead project meetings and ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical engineering and design.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (P.Eng.) or Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma (C.E.T.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in office-based oil and gas engineering or design.
- Registration with a Canadian professional engineering/engineering technologist association or as a registered Journeyman electrician in Alberta or Saskatchewan.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience with ETAP software is an asset.
- Valid driver's license for local travel and field work.
