Job Title: Sales Representative

Centennial Food Solutions is a leading provider of customized quality center-of-the-plate products in Western Canada. Our goal is to connect our communities through great food and exceptional service.

Job Summary:

A dynamic Sales Representative is required to maintain and grow an established territory in Saskatoon and parts of Northern Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer service, be self-motivated and organized, and have the ability to work comfortably on computers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Selling to existing customer base, working with call sheets.
  • Weekly collection of account balances from customers (distributing statements, credits, and ensuring all invoices are paid according to terms).
  • Growing existing customer base using correct company protocol on new account sign ups.
  • Attending regular sales meetings either virtually or in person and yearly March conference.
  • Responsible for increasing sales and margin in existing customer base.
  • Working on adding new product lines.
  • Working with customers to setup weekly advertisements to continue to grow business.
  • Selling protein specialties and Made at Centennial items.
  • Understanding market conditions, product innovations and sales; share information with customers as part of value-added services.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1 to 2 years progressive sales experience in a similar sized operation; a combination of post-secondary education and experience will also be considered.
  • 1 to 3 years of related industry experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff.
  • Ability to work comfortably on computers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work in, and outside of an office setting.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
