SQF Practitioner Job Description

Cerelia Bakery Canada LP is seeking a highly skilled SQF Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of our SQF program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SQF systems and procedures to ensure compliance with SQF Food Safety Code requirements.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify and address potential food safety hazards and non-conformances.
  • Lead and participate in investigations of food safety incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and educate employees on SQF principles and procedures to foster a culture of food safety awareness.
  • Stay up to date on the latest SQF requirements and best practices in food safety.
  • Assist QA Manager with SQF certification audits and address any findings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food manufacturing with a focus on food safety.
  • Completion of HACCP training course.
  • Proven understanding of SQF Food Safety Code V9: Food Manufacturing and its implementation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
