Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

A B Traders Ltd is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and represent companies that export and import products or services to and from foreign countries
  • Conduct sales transactions and prepare and administer sales contracts
  • Use sales forecasting software and conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and review and adapt information regarding product innovations, competitors and market conditions
  • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment and provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
  • Resolve product and service related problems and troubleshoot problems related to equipment
  • Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services and provide customer service
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in sales or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Database management skills
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
