Audiovisual Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiovisual Technician to join our team at Upper Canada College. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert audiovisual support in performance and event spaces, as well as collaborating with the Help Desk to ensure seamless classroom technology support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the college's AV technical landscape, including projectors, screens, and other multimedia equipment.
- Provide technical support for audiovisual events and performances, ensuring high-quality sound and visual experiences.
- Collaborate with the Help Desk to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to classroom technology.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the college's AV systems and equipment, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
- Work closely with faculty and staff to understand their technical needs and provide tailored support.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of audiovisual systems and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
- A high level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
