About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Brace Law Professional Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning
    • Ensure all areas of the office are clean and tidy, including floors, furniture, and fixtures
    • Restock supplies and linens as needed
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
  • Facilities Maintenance
    • Assist with the maintenance of office equipment and appliances
    • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager
  • Guest Services
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and visitors
    • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
    • Provide support and resources to help them settle into their new environment
  • Support for Youths
    • Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to youth
    • Help them develop new skills and gain work experience
  • Support for Veterans
    • Assist with immediate transition needs of Veterans
    • Provide support and resources to help them transition back into civilian life
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Help them develop new skills and gain work experience
  • Support for Visible Minorities
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
    • Help them develop new skills and gain work experience
  • Work Environment
    • Work 40 hours per week
    • Work in a fast-paced office environment
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Language
    • English language proficiency required
