Trauma Therapist and Manager, Addictions

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trauma Therapist with strong leadership skills to join our team at Homewood Health. As a Trauma Therapist and temporary Manager, Addictions, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities- As a Trauma Therapist:
- Provide trauma-informed therapy to individuals, groups, and families affected by traumatic experiences
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
- As a Manager, Addictions (Temporary Secondment):
- Lead and manage the Addictions team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services
- Oversee program development, implementation and evaluation within the Addictions department
- Provide supervision, support and training to staff
- Manage department budgets, resources and reporting requirements
- Act as a liaison between the department and external stakeholders
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or a related field
- Must be a licensed therapist (e.g., RP, OCSWSSW, COTO, etc.) with specialized training in trauma therapy
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trauma therapy
- Experience in addiction services or a related field is strongly preferred
- Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset
- Strong clinical skills with a deep understanding of trauma-informed care
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Awareness and acknowledgement of the value of using measurement-based care when supporting patients/clients to help guide clinical decision making; experience an asset
