Job Description

MLSE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Treasury and Tax team. As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing technical accounting skills and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in entering cash transactions and month-end bank reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of US tax extension filings.
  • Monitor ticket sales-related deposits and process payment vouchers.
  • Provide support for the Accounts Payable department.
  • Perform monthly calculations and reconciliations for key accounts.
  • Assist in the preparation of P&L's for supported departments.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Working towards an undergraduate degree and pre-requisites for entry into the CPA Professional Education Program.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
  • Outstanding organization skills and ability to manage time effectively.
  • Love of learning and ability to apply new skills to unfamiliar tasks.
