Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Back Country Jack's Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 staff members, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and order ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure efficient meal preparation and minimize waste.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports as required, including inventory reports and sales data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate and Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Availability: Available for shift or on-call work, and willing to relocate.
