We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Rogers Communications. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce subscriber platform, which monetizes and manages the direct-to-consumer product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional streaming experiences that meet our high-growth subscriber and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Manage the DTC & TVE Experience: Articulate and develop the digital-to-consumer and TV everywhere experience for our streaming users, including how they access and consume content, and how we can further simplify and elevate the experience for our customers.
- Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of our direct-to-consumer platform, including purchase, authentication, entitlements, identity, billing, personalization, and retention.
- Develop and Implement a Validated Product Roadmap: Develop and implement a validated product roadmap by collaborating with key stakeholders, such as marketing, distribution, IT, and programming, on top priorities, timelines, delivery status, and launch plans.
- Deep Understanding of Video Streaming Experience: Have a deep understanding of the video streaming experience to support the entire customer journey.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate daily with UX, business, marketing, customer support, finance, and IT development teams to define products, remove roadblocks, and evaluate trade-offs to continuously deliver functionality that makes measurable impact.
- Obsess Over User Needs: Obsess over understanding and validating user needs and building intuitive user experiences that help increase core UX and business metrics.
- Work with Project Managers: Work closely with Project Managers on IT teams to participate in agile ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, product demos, and release plans.
- Digital Product Experience: Digital product experience with subscription or e-commerce products in video entertainment.
- Product Ownership: Experience with product ownership of web, mobile, and/or connected TV apps.
- Technical Skills: Experience working with Zuora, Adobe, and Transmit Security preferred.
- Collaborative Leadership: Collaborative leadership skills and experiences to deliver high-growth products as a cross-functional team.
- Video Industry Knowledge: Working knowledge of video industry technologies and trends, including digital user experience, product management, strategy, techniques, and frameworks to deliver the best user experience.
- Streaming Services: You are a power user of streaming services.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You are focused on using data and user feedback to improve digital products.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral/written communication skills to present ideas for alignment and ability to adapt to changing business needs in a complex, matrix organization.
- Education: University or College degree is preferred.
