POSITION SUMMARY

CB Canada is seeking a Mechanic for our operations.

This technician role involves conducting preventive maintenance, performing diagnostics, and executing repairs on equipment efficiently and safely to minimize downtime. Our fleet varies by location, primarily including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty locations may feature large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related machinery.

Qualifications for success include:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required; trade school or equivalent training is preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a mechanic with similar diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas machinery) is strongly preferred

Essential Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Possession of mechanic's tools may be necessary.
  • Advanced understanding of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires physical demands such as bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting over 50 pounds, as well as working indoors and outdoors as required.
