Position Overview:

As a Mathematics Remediation Educator, you will be instrumental in nurturing critical and creative thinking in students regarding mathematical concepts. Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Math Department Head to enhance math remediation practices across the institution, focusing on developing students' numeracy and fluency skills
  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes numeracy and fluency skill development
  • Design and organize multisensory educational resources to complement the curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Provide co-teaching support and individualized assistance to students
  • Tutor small groups in advanced high school mathematics
  • Aid educators in utilizing assessment tools and identifying students' foundational skills
  • Analyze student learning profiles and offer guidance to teachers on effective strategies for supporting students struggling with mathematics
