Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural EIT to join our team in a collaborative environment. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will work on assigned projects, preparing designs and related documents under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and related documents for various projects
  • Perform field reviews during various stages of projects throughout construction
  • Collaborate with structural or civil team members to assist with the development of engineering design and related documents
  • Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standards
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural and registered as an EIT within the Province of British Columbia
  • 1-3 years of structural engineering experience with steel, reinforced concrete, and bridge construction engineering
  • Basic knowledge of engineering analysis and design software packages such as SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA
  • Design experience using AutoCAD 3D and 3D and ProSteel in an industrial setting is an asset
  • Technical competence and strong attention to detail
  • Experience reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFI's considered an asset
  • Experience in the design of concrete, steel, and timber structures is desired
