Position Overview

The Web Titans Corporation is seeking a dedicated Network Support Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Management: Oversee, troubleshoot, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and associated computer workstations.
  • Hardware and Software Installation: Assess and implement computer hardware, networking software, and operating systems.
  • User Support: Provide expert problem-solving assistance to network users.
  • Security Implementation: Establish and enforce data, software, and hardware security protocols.
  • Routine Operations: Conduct regular network startups and shutdowns while maintaining comprehensive control records.
  • Data Management: Execute data backups and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Network Setup: Configure local area networks and internet connections.
  • Performance Optimization: Utilize network traffic and security monitoring tools to enhance server performance.
  • Web Development: Modify web pages, applets, and scripts as necessary.
  • SEO Research: Investigate and apply meta-data to websites and register them with search engines.
  • Technical Supervision: Oversee technical staff and their activities.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a related field.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
