Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Door Ace Your Garage Door & Gates Co. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Fabrication
    • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
    • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Metal Shaping and Bending
    • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
    • Fabricate and assemble metal components
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
