Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Family Practitioner to join our team at Harbourside Medical Clinic on Quadra Island. As a rural family medicine physician, you will provide comprehensive primary care to our patients and work collaboratively with our existing physician to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-service family practice to patients of all ages
- Work collaboratively with our existing physician to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in minor surgical procedures as needed
Benefits
As a rural physician, you may be eligible for additional remuneration through the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000
- Fee Premium: 9.98%
- Annual Flat Fee: $15,040
Professional Development
We offer a range of professional development opportunities, including:
- Rural CME starting at $2,000 per annum after two years in community, increasing to a maximum of $4,000 after four years
- Rural GP Locum Program providing $1,000 per day to locum physicians with 33 days per annum locum coverage to resident physicians
