Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, fostering customer retention, and promoting outstanding associate and doctor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Profitable Store Sales: Foster a retail selling culture by practicing NECE and using effective retail sales skills.
  • Develop Professional Relationships: Develop professional business relationships with other Associates and Doctors.
  • Fill Ophthalmic Eyeglass Prescriptions: Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions and fit and adapt lenses and frames.
  • Assist with Store Merchandising: Assist with ensuring each store is effectively merchandised and presented according to Planogram and other Company standards.
  • Maximize Managed Vision Care Relationships: Maximize Managed Vision Care relationships and sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State Licensure or Certification: State licensure or certification by a nationally-recognized opticianary association as an optician.
  • Experience and Results: Experience and results with a retail or customer service establishment.
  • Sales Skills and Accountability: Ability to sell through use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Communication and Relationship-Building: Ability to provide enthusiastic and concise communication to meet/exceed customer expectations as well as foster positive and results-oriented associate, doctor and host relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in retail operations.
  • 3+ Years of Experience: 3+ years of experience.
  • Personal Computer Experience: Experience with personal computers.
