Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **Construction Assistant** to support our team at ZOOM CONSTRUCTION LTD. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the construction process.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal education required, such as a degree, certificate, or diploma.
Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and handle construction materials efficiently.
  • Assist in the setup and removal of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  • Mix, pour, and distribute materials including concrete and asphalt.
  • Support drilling and blasting operations on construction sites.
  • Help in the framing of residential structures, including wall erection and roof construction.
  • Grade earth to specified levels.
  • Participate in building demolition activities.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks.
  • Manage cleanup of chemical spills and other hazardous materials.
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in construction processes.
Specialization

Work Environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Overtime may be required based on project needs.
Physical Requirements
