Hawk Exteriors Inc. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Utilize precision tools and equipment to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Install and Fit Components: Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain and Repair Structures: Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in carpentry.
- Work Setting: Ability to work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with physically demanding tasks.
- Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary tools and equipment.
- Work Conditions: 35 hours per week, with a permanent work term and English as the primary work language.
