About the Role:

The Server Assistant plays a vital role in providing an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience at Café Boulud, a French Brasserie serving a seasonally-changing menu rooted in the French tradition. The ideal candidate will possess an affinity for guest service, excellent personal presentation, and interpersonal skills. They will assist the Food Server and Food Runner in clearing tables, resetting them neatly, and learning the sequence of service.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Clear tables and reset them neatly and efficiently
  • Assist the Food Server and Food Runner in providing an expertly served dining experience
  • Learn the sequence of service and maintain high standards of quality, professionalism, and friendliness

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of previous Busperson experience in a fast-paced food and beverage operation
  • Exceptional communication skills and command of the English language
  • Additional language skills a definite asset for career growth

Schedule and Hours:

The Seasonal contract will be from June 2024 to October 2024. Successful candidates must possess open availability and the ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
