About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team at Baymont by Wyndham. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve hotel goals and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage personnel.
  • Financial Management: Oversee hotel finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Guest Services: Ensure exceptional guest experiences through prompt and courteous service, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the hotel.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Language: English (work language).
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
