Job Title: Heavy Construction Crew Foreman/Woman

Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Construction Crew Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Construction Crew Foreman/Woman will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a heavy construction crew, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Prepare production and other reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and meet project deadlines.
  • Work closely with other project supervisors or managers to coordinate activities and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Prepare accident reports and conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a heavy construction or related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical demands of the job include standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
