Job Summary:The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating inventory and supplies, and implementing quality control measures.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Coordinate the purchase and inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are available.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and laundry, to ensure seamless operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
