Junior Project Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage effective communication with clients, providing regular updates and addressing their concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure project progress aligns with established timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain meticulous records of project schedules, deliverables, and expenses, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Prepare and submit payment requests to clients in a timely manner, adhering to contractual agreements.
  • Oversee administrative tasks related to project management, including resource allocation, procurement of materials, and coordination with site personnel.
  • Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Track project costs diligently, providing regular financial reports to management and identifying areas for cost optimization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a project coordination role within the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant project management software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites across Quebec.
