Job Summary

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled B-Pressure Welder Journeyperson to join our team at the Suncor Fort Hills project site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for welding and repairing metal components, working with other trades, and ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld and repair metal components using various welding techniques and equipment
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as Millwrights and Pipefitters, to complete projects
  • Develop and follow layouts, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate and efficient work
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
Requirements
  • Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
  • CSTS
  • H2S Alive
  • AWP
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space
  • Common Safety Orientation
  • Overhead Crane & Rigging
  • Mask Fit Test
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Valid Full Class 5 Driver's License-No restrictions
