Job Title: B-Pressure Welder with Rig Maintenance

Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled B-Pressure Welder with experience in rig maintenance to join our team. As a B-Pressure Welder, you will be responsible for welding pressure piping using various processes such as SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld pressure piping using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW processes
  • Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available
  • Customize and perform repetitive welding procedures

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Welding Certification
  • Grade B-Pressure Welding Certification
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson B-Pressure Welder in heavy industrial or construction settings
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and welding techniques
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:

  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor
  • Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection
  • Basic Rigging Certification
  • Must be an Incorporated Contractor with access to a welding rig, valid WCB, liability Insurance
  • Must be able to provide welding machine calibrations done within the last year
  • Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test

Preferred Requirements:

  • Aerial Work Platform
  • First Aid
  • WHMIS
