We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Branch Manager - Fleet Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our rental fleet, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our equipment is always in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management: Develop and implement efficient shop flow processes to ensure that our rental fleet is always ready for customer use.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of mechanics to ensure that priorities are set and preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
- Coaching and Development: Coach, mentor, and develop branch employees to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Make recommendations to management regarding rental fleet inventory to ensure that we have the right equipment to meet customer needs.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all company safety policies and procedures are followed at the branch level, and champion a culture of safety within the team.
- Communication: Work closely with all levels of the organization to ensure a team-based approach to problem-solving and to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the equipment rental/construction industry.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of propane and climate control solutions, as well as excellent sales and customer relations skills.
- Education: Post-secondary education an asset.
- Driver's License: Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean or satisfactory abstract (no more than three demerit points).
