About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Island Recruiting. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Plan Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education on health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document Patient Information: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospital or medical facility setting.
  • Licensure: Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work.
