We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Bravo Pizza & Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and implement procedures to maintain high standards.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet demand.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and provide guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
- Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, and team player skills.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
