About the Role:

The STARS Pilot is a critical member of the Aviation team, responsible for safely and effectively piloting STARS aircraft. This role requires a professional helicopter pilot with excellent communication and organizational skills, who thrives in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pilot STARS aircraft in accordance with aviation regulations and company policies
  • Collaborate with the Aviation Base Manager and operational team to ensure seamless flight operations
  • Participate in pre-flight planning, risk assessment, and post-flight debriefing
  • Meet and exceed performance standards, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and continuous learning

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Rotary Wing Licence
  • Minimum 1000 hours of helicopter experience
  • Multi-Engine and Night/IFR experience desirable
  • Helicopter Airline Transport Licence exams completed
  • Group 4 Instrument rating and Helicopter Night Ratings required
  • Valid Class 1 medical
  • Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security Assessment Application for Night Vision Goggle purposes
  • Valid Canadian Passport or ability to work in Canada and travel to the USA
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations
