About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at 100 Mile House Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans for patients with a range of conditions, including acute respiratory, chronic disease, knee and hip replacements, and non-telemetry to chronic.
  • Provide direction to Rehabilitation Assistants and ensure seamless coordination and delivery of care within the rehabilitation team.
  • Work closely with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and assist individual patients/clients and their families respond to changing health care needs.
  • Conduct outreach to assist with discharges and provide assessments to one convalescent short stay bed, and as needed, for five respite beds at the long-term care facility Fisher Place.
