Job Title: Senior Vice-President, Human Resources

Our client, a leader in the Transportation sector for over 50 years, is seeking a Senior Vice-President, Human Resources to be based in their Moncton, NB Head Office location. As a seasoned HR leader, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class strategic and operational HR solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the strategy and business planning of the organization, translating strategic decisions into effective HR strategies and plans.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate VP of HR and other senior HR leaders to define and implement the HR strategic agenda.
  • Lead a team of 20+ HR professionals across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario, spearheading talent acquisition, development, planning, and performance development strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Requirements:
  • University degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • CPHR designation or equivalent.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, currently at a senior level and focusing on recruitment and retention, employee growth and development, and compensation.
  • Experience leading an HR team of professionals across multiple sites and provinces within Canada.
  • Fluency in both written and oral communication in English and French.
