Job Title: Vice President, Human Resources

Personnel Search Ltd is seeking a seasoned Human Resources leader to join our team as Vice President, Human Resources. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's HR strategy and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with the organization's business objectives
  • Lead a team of HR professionals across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of best-in-class people practices
  • Collaborate with the Corporate VP of HR and other senior HR leaders to define and implement the HR strategic agenda
  • Design and implement talent acquisition, development, planning, and performance development strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure a positive employee experience through the delivery of best-in-class people practices
Requirements:
  • University degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
  • CPHR designation or equivalent
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, currently at a senior level and focusing on recruitment and retention, employee growth and development, and compensation
  • Strong personal credibility, effective influencing skills, and outstanding communication abilities
  • Experience leading an HR team of professionals across multiple sites and provinces within Canada, previous experience working within a Shared Services business model, and fluency in both written and oral communication in English and French
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to Continuous Improvement tools, methodologies, and culture
  • Experience in both non-bargaining and unionized environments
  • Familiarity with federally regulated companies
