Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at CO_04 TC1 Bird Construction Industrial Services Ltd. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the daily management of assigned projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Project Manager in establishing project goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify, recommend, and implement cost-effective project delivery strategies.
- Prepare and update project budgets, schedules, and cost reports under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure project health, safety, and environmental standards meet legislated requirements and company policy.
- Assist in completing project close-out activities, including finalizing reports, purchase orders, and outstanding charges.
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or construction management.
- Eligible for, or have attained, E.I.T., P. Eng., CET, or PQS designations.
- Institutional and commercial construction background.
- 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management, including at least 3 years in project management of large industrial projects.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to delivering results and developing team members.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Experience with Viewpoint Project Management system is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude.
