Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Rotorcraft)

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Rotorcraft) to join our team at Qwest Helicopters (2020) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on rotorcraft aircraft to ensure they meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports
  • Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassemble
  • Perform and document routine maintenance
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and written technical instructions
Requirements:
  • AME "M" Licence - Aircraft
  • Experience with medium turbine helicopters and small turbine helicopters
  • Commercial air carrier, general aviation, and repair and overhaul facility experience
  • Aircraft maintenance - general and turbine engines specialization
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads
