Job Opportunity: Law Student - Legal Services

Are you a law student looking for a challenging and rewarding summer internship? Canadian Natural Resources Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a law student to join our Corporate Legal Services team.

This summer internship will provide you with hands-on experience in in-house legal practice, working alongside industry-leading professionals. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including reviewing and identifying key information within legal documents, assisting legal counsel and paralegals with document discovery processes, and drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and identify key information within various legal documents
  • Assist legal counsel and paralegals with a broad variety of tasks
  • Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts

Requirements:

  • Completion of first year studies in Law
  • Knowledge of contract law, commercial law, corporate law, and litigation concepts
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Word and Excel
  • Strong reading and analytical skills
