The Canadian Red Cross (CRC) is a distinguished non-profit organization committed to assisting individuals and communities in need both domestically and internationally. Acknowledged as one of Canada's premier employers, we aim to foster an inclusive and accessible workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive evaluations of initiatives, collaborating closely with partners to formulate evaluation strategies, and offering continuous support for data gathering and analysis.
- Perform research to improve evaluation processes as necessary.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders, prepare thorough reports, and effectively communicate findings.
- Assist the national health team and partners in their research and evaluation endeavors.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of projects.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in public health, evaluation, statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in leading evaluations utilizing diverse methodologies.
- Knowledge of participatory evaluation methods and caregiver support initiatives.
- Strong methodological expertise and experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques.
- Capability to lead diverse teams and apply analytical frameworks to intricate issues.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
- A solid understanding and commitment to equity and anti-racism principles.
- Exceptional communication skills in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Previous experience in health equity, community sectors, or social prescribing is desirable.
Working Conditions:
- Remote work with occasional travel requirements.
- Eligibility to work in Canada is mandatory.
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening process is required.
- Fluency in English is required for non-native speakers.
