About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at WAYBACK BURGERS. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring that all equipment and surfaces are clean and sanitized.

  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Settlement Support: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
  • Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition, helping them to access education and employment opportunities.
Support for Youths
  • Youth Awareness Training: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
