Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and staff
  • Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
  • Respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or security breaches
  • Prevent unauthorized access and deter criminal activity
  • Perform interior patrols on site according to schedule to determine any unusual activity
  • Facilitate access to emergency medical personnel and provide instructions to onlookers
  • Daily occurrence reporting and incident reporting
  • Enforce property regulations and city by-laws
  • Protect client assets from theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues
  • Provide excellent customer service and conflict resolution
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
  • Must be good with technologies
  • Tactical experience (asset)
  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work nights and in a stressful environment
