Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at InLife Independent Living Ltd. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex support needs to live independently in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care and assistance with domestic duties to clients with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, intellectual disabilities, or autism.
- Support clients with bowel care and catheter care, as well as transfers and use of equipment.
- Work with children and individuals with complex support needs, including those who require 24/7 assistance.
- Collaborate with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals, to support clients in completing regular physiotherapy programs.
- Hold a full driver's license and be willing to provide transport in your own vehicle, with reimbursement for costs.
- Commit to ongoing shifts, including varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as well as short shifts, sleepovers, and active night shifts.
- Experience working with individuals with complex support needs, including those with physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, intellectual disabilities, or autism.
