Job Title: Street Outreach Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Street Outreach Worker. In this role, you will work with vulnerable populations, providing support and connecting them with essential services.

Job Summary:

The Street Outreach Worker will work in a fast-paced environment, providing crisis intervention, and connecting clients with social services and healthcare providers. This is a permanent position, working 16 hours per week, with a valid driver's license and a vehicle supplied by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need
  • Connect clients with social services and healthcare providers
  • Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services
  • Prepare reports and case histories
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program evaluation and research
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and a vehicle supplied by the employer
