We are seeking a dedicated Cashier Supervisor to oversee our cashiers and ensure smooth operations within our retail environment. This role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and efficient service.
Education Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
The position is based in an urban retail setting, where you will be part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Delegate tasks to sales personnel effectively.
- Authorize merchandise returns as necessary.
- Engage in selling merchandise and enhancing customer experience.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and any supply shortages.
- Maintain and organize inventory to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cashiers.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 cashiers.
Work Conditions- Fast-paced working environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical requirements include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with prolonged periods of standing.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a changing environment.
- Highly organized and reliable.
- A true team player.
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 35 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
