About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at JD Trans Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and maintain open communication with colleagues and management.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as required.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid AZ class license and a valid passport.
  • Work Experience: Will train, but previous experience in a similar role is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
