Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Division Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for performing accounting activities, analyzing financial information, and preparing financial reports. You will work closely with our Area Controller to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries and document business transactions.
- Assist the Area Controller in ensuring proper internal controls are in place.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and statistical data, and fully analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Support the Area Controller during the annual budget and interim forecasting process.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
- Accounting experience.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP.
- Intermediate-level MS Excel skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and research non-standard situations.
- Effective and professional interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
