Job Title: Parts Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Parts Specialist to join our team at Forest Power Sports LTD. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages to ensure prompt and efficient communication with customers.
  • Clean and maintain the office, supply area, or warehouse to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Conduct sales calls to identify customer needs and provide recommendations on parts and accessories.
  • Set up displays of retail parts and accessories to showcase our products and attract customers.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts to ensure they receive the right products for their needs.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify, label, and catalogue items received to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain records on the inventory control system to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Prepare and track work orders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Process incoming requisitions to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Sell spare and replacement parts to customers to ensure they receive the right products for their needs.
  • Ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • MS Office skills to ensure efficient and accurate data entry and management.
  • Internet skills to ensure access to relevant information and resources.
  • Point of sale system skills to ensure accurate and efficient processing of transactions.
  • Parts specialization in marine, motorcycle, recreation vehicle, small engines and generators, and snowmobile to ensure expertise in our products.
  • Own transportation to ensure timely and efficient delivery of parts and products.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient processing of tasks.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling to ensure safe and efficient movement around the warehouse and supply area.
  • Fast-paced environment to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Client focus to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Dependability to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to ensure clear and effective communication with customers and colleagues.
